Mershele "Shelby" Brown, creator, producer and host of    "The Antidote Show", empowers individuals to share their stories of trial and tragedy to triumph and victory; to encourage viewers to acquire the same favorable achievement. Ms. Brown is an accomplished speaker, talk show host and blog radio host. In addition, she's a small business owner where her background includes 20 plus years as a hairstylist and salon owner of "Antidote Studio and Hair Salon."

Mershele's expertise in various hair techniques has allowed her to attain a clientele that reaches across all ethnic groups.   With more than a decade of being a servant for people; she has developed a sharp eye and ear for those in need. Therefore, this has given her the ultimate desire to move from making people beautiful on the outside to making them over on the inside.

As she couples together the wisdom and inspiration from her late grandmother she continues to exhibit a woman of courage during every episode. Amazingly, she is able to use her humor and compassion to minister and mentor men, women, and young people despite her own trials as a former drug addict and victim of abuse.

Just recently, she was awarded the Phenomenal Woman Award by radio host J. La Trina on WIGO radio station. She's currently a member of Highpoint Christian Tabernacle Women's Recording Choir, Black Wall Street Organization and is a proud member of the Prophetic Leadership Group.

She's also a philanthropist, who supports several groups that include Moms on a Mission, Dads on Duty and Youth in Action; just to name a few.  

A native of Louisville, Kentucky Mereshele relocated to Atlanta ten years ago,and is the mother of two handsome sons.

Who We Are

The "Antidote Show is a program that introduces audiences to people who give their real life stories about challenges and pitfalls that they were subjective too.But amazingly through the stories of courage, strength and sometimes the will to live exhilarates true triumph.

Our viewers believe that the advise and encouragement the show provides is need in our communities across the globe. These stories are meant to teach and provide positive examples of how to successfully live the life they want.

The program also offers positive and inspirational television. Not only for stories but the Antidote Cafe with Co- host Lisa D., offers a promotional outlet for upcoming recording artist, spoken word artist, Dancers, Rappers and anyone that may have an uplifting and inspiring message. Therefore, while the program delivers a positive message to assist viewers to live a more fruitful life, it's also entertaining as well. The Antidote appeals to the senses, viewers laugh, cry, and rejoice as they watch the tag team partnership of Mershele and Lisa.

As you watch the show, your host Mershele Brown is more than a host or producer. She is a survivor who inspires and empowers audiences to believe in themselves and to control their own destiny. She is empathetic with a touch of firmness when interviewing and getting down to the truth with her guest.
